Prabhupāda: Now chant all mantras. [chants word-by-word, and devotees repeat]

nama apavitraḥ pavitro vā
sarvāvasthāṁ gato 'pi vā
yaḥ smaret puṇḍarīkākṣaṁ
sa bahyābhyantaraḥśuciḥ

[Garuḍa Purāṇa]

śrī-viṣṇu śrī-viṣṇu śrī-viṣṇu

Now, give these beads. [devotees chant japa]

Brahmānanda: Brahmānanda Purī.

Prabhupāda: Huh?

Brahmānanda: Brahmānanda Puri.

Prabhupāda: Paramānanda.

Brahmānanda: Brahmānanda.

Prabhupāda: Brahmānanda. Brahmānanda, his name already there.

Brahmānanda: Brahmānanda Purī.

Prabhupāda: All right. So, you are Brahmānanda Purī. You know the rules and regulation? What is that?

Brahmānanda Purī: No gambling, no intoxication, no meat-eating and no illicit sex.

Prabhupāda: Hmm. How many rounds you will chant?

Brahmānanda Purī: Sixteen rounds.

Prabhupāda: Take it. All right. Come on. Don’t drop. Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Devotees: Hare Kṛṣṇa! [everyone chants japa]

Brahmānanda: Robert? Gaṅga dāsa.

Prabhupāda: You know the rules and regulation? Tell. What are those rules and regulation?

Robert: No eating meat, fish or eggs, no illicit sex, don’t take intoxicants, no gambling.

Prabhupāda: Your name is Gaṅga dāsa. Take it. Come on. [devotees chant japa] Come on. Be prepared with this neck beads on. So, you know the rules and regulation?

Bhojadeva: No meat-eating, no intoxication, no illicit sex, no gambling.

Brahmānanda: Bhojadeva.

Prabhupāda: Bhojadeva. Hare Kṛṣṇa. [devotees chant japa] What are the rules?

Bopadeva: No meat-eating, fish or eggs, no illicit sex, no gambling, no intoxication.

Brahmānanda: Bopadeva.

Prabhupāda: Bopadeva, yours. Hare Kṛṣṇa. [japa] What are the rules and regulation?

Yajña-prīyā dāsī: No illicit sex [indistinct].

Brahmānanda: Yajña-prīyā dāsī.

Prabhupāda: Yajña-prīyā dāsī. Come on. Hare Kṛṣṇa. [devotees chant japa] Yajñaiḥ saṅkīrtana-prāyair yajanti hi su-medhasaḥ [SB 11.5.32]. [japa] You know the rules and regulations? What are those? Thank you.

Brahmānanda: Bhuvaneśvara dāsa.

Prabhupāda: Bhuvaneśvara dāsa. Thank you. [devotees chant japa] Rules?

Brahmānanda: Kṛṣṇa Caitanya dāsa.

Prabhupāda: Kṛṣṇa Caitanya dāsa.

Devotees: Jaya! Haribol!

Prabhupāda: Very good name.

Brahmānanda: [indistinct].

Prabhupāda: Hare Kṛṣṇa. Come on. [japa] What are the rules?

Devotee: No meat-eating, no intoxication, no illicit sex, no gambling.

Brahmānanda: Asura-kula-nāśana.

Prabhupāda: Ohh. Very big name. [laughter] Asura-kula-nāśana. Asura-kula means demons. You have to massacre all these demons. [laughter] Come on. You will do it? You will do it? Thank you. [laughter]

Brahmānanda: Leslie. [devotee chant japa]

Prabhupāda: You know who is demon? You know who is demon? Asura-kula-nāśana, you know who is demon? Who is that? Who is demon?

Asura-kula-nāśana: Oh, karmīs. [laughter]

Prabhupāda: No, not only karmīs; others also. So-called scientist.

Devotees: Jaya! Haribol!

Prabhupāda: Māyayāpahṛta-jñānā [Bg. 7.15]. Anyone who is posing himself as very much advanced in education but has no knowledge in Kṛṣṇa, he is also a demon.

Devotees: Jaya!

Svarūpa Dāmodara: Who is not a devotee of Kṛṣṇa...

Prabhupāda: Hah?

Svarūpa Dāmodara: ...he's a demon.

Prabhupāda: Yes. Demon means he is not a devotee. That is demon. There are two kinds of persons = one demon, and one demigod. Those who are devotees, they are demigods, and those who are not devotees, they are demons.

dvau bhūta-sargau loke
asura..., daiva āsura eva ca
viṣṇu-bhakti-bhaved daiva
āsuras tad-viparyayaḥ

Asura. Asura means just the opposite number of devotees. That’s all. This is the general definition of demons = opposite number. So anyone who is against Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he is a demon. That’s all. This is general. Come on. What are the rules and regulation?

Leslie: No meat-eating, no illicit sex, no intoxication, no gambling.

Brahmānanda: Tārakā dāsī.

Prabhupāda: Tārakā-devī dāsī. One of the gopīs.

Devotees: Jaya.

Prabhupāda: Thank you very much.

Brahmānanda: Terry. [devotees chant japa]

Prabhupāda: What he is doing? What are the rules and regulation?

Terry: No meat-eating, no illicit sex life, no gambling and no intoxication.

Prabhupāda: Hmm. Strictly.

Terry: Jaya Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Prabhupāda: Come on. What is it?

Brahmānanda: Tejomāya.

Prabhupāda: Tejomāya. Who is Tejomāya? You know? Who is Tejomāya? You know? Tejomāya, we have explained = the sun. Sun is Tejomāya. Aśeṣa-tejāḥ. Sun. Tejomāya. Nobody can compare with his temperature. [devotees chant japa]

Prabhupāda: Who is next?

Brahmānanda: Caroline? Caroline?

Prabhupāda: [japa] What are the rules and regulation?

Caroline: No meat, fish or eggs, no gambling, no intoxication and no illicit sex.

Prabhupāda: Are you insured? [laughter] Insured?

Caroline: [indistinct]

Prabhupāda: Because you have got this spot. [devotee has a "beauty spot" above her lip] [laughter] There was a film actress, Pearl White, she had a spot like that. She insured for many amount. [laughter] Come on.

Brahmānanda: Cinmayī dāsī.

Prabhupāda: Cinmayī. Yes. That is your insurance. Cinmayī: to become spiritually conscious. That is the best insurance.

Devotees: Jaya. [japa]

Brahmānanda: Jodie? Jodie?

Prabhupāda: Come on. [japa] What are the rules and regulation?

Jodie: Chant at least sixteen rounds. No taking of meat, fish or eggs, no illicit sex, no gambling and no intoxication.

Prabhupāda: Thank you.

Brahmānanda: Kāla-rūpa.

Prabhupāda: Kāla-rūpa. Vicious. When Kṛṣṇa appears in the Battle of Kurukṣetra, virāṭ-rūpa, he inquired to Arjuna, "Who are You?" He said, "Kāla-rūpa." Kāla-rūpa means, "I have come..., I have appeared to kill all these demons." Hare Kṛṣṇa. Now chant. [japa] You know the rules and regulation?

Kālacandra: No illicit sex life, no meat-eating, no intoxication and no gambling.

Prabhupāda: Very good. What is intoxication?

Kālacandra: Smoking.

Prabhupāda: Hah?

Kālacandra: Smoking.

Prabhupāda: What are these?

Brahmānanda: He said cigarette.

Prabhupāda: Tea also. Yes. Tea, coffee---all these are intoxicants. So?

Brahmānanda: Kālacandra.

Prabhupāda: Hmm. Kālacandra. Come on. Hare Kṛṣṇa. Kālacandra dāsa. You are Gauracandra, but you are servant of Kālacandra. Kālacandra is another name of Kṛṣṇa. So thank you very much. Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Devotees: Jaya! Haribol! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. [end]
